Blooms

This past season the hot trending flowers were the Café au Lait Dahlia, Garden Roses in many soft hues (and scents!), succulents (specially the Echeveria variety) and Dusty Miller and Astilbe were huge as accent greens. I have had a love affair with succulents since 2002 and am thrilled to be working with them in wedding designs.

Eclectic combinations of vases were also hot and I adore this trend. It adds immense texture, creates the signature style of the tablescape, adds unlimited variety to the centerpiece and keeps everything low and lush.

Loose garden shapes have been holding strong for the bouquets as well as full color blooms for the bride and her maids. Big texture is in for the guys boutonnieres. Here are a few of my loves from the past two seasons.
